Shameless Witness- Alex's View by ~cloudagesymphony:iconcloudagesymphony:

Shameless Witness

Ten years ago,
You just stood there,
As you watched us go down.
You just stood there,
Watching us,
And smiling.

Ten years ago,
We were the only hope,
For this quarrel to cease,
But we failed,
While you just stood,
Watching,
Smiling.

You were just a shameless witness,
Ten years ago,
Watching us,
Smiling,
As all that ever mattered to me,
Were torn away,
By icy hands.
You just stood there,
Smiling,
As we went down.

You just stood and smiled,
Ten years ago,
As all the pieces,
All that ever mattered to me,
My love,
My companions,
My sanity,
Were ripped away,
As all hope deteriorated.
You just stood there,
Smiling.

Ten years ago,
You were just a shameless witness.

SPOILER WARNING!

Ok, if you haven't turned back now, either you've seen it, don't care, or you're screwed.

This is actually a fanpoem from the point of view of Alex Row from Last Exile. It's about Delphine, when she allowed Euris, Valca and Head to die.
